Everything you need is in your packet you picked up on Distribution Day. The most important part to pay attention to, is the rubric. It is recommended that you fill-out the rubric as you complete your project (like a checklist). There are two parts you will submit for this project: 1. an image of the Google Doodle 2. a Google or Word doc with your paragraphs Here are some Kittredge Quality examples from the past: If you would like extra credit, here is your chance. This project is worth 10 bonus points. You may add these points to a test, project, or assignment of your choosing. You will need to include the name of the assignment that you would like extra credit at the top of your assignment. Please note: I cannot award more than full credit for an assignment. For example; you cannot get a 110/100.
Watch the following movie: Samantha: An American Girl Holiday You will probably need to rent this movie or purchase it, but it is often free on Netflix, Amazon, and Youtube for free. Watch the movie, make 5 connections to our history unit, and explain them. Each connection should be 3-5 sentences for full credit. Type this assignment and and attach it to the google assignment before Monday, November 30th. Don't forget to include the name of the assignment that you would like your teacher to add your bonus points to. Please find the "Design Your Very Own...Statue of Liberty...and become a Junior Ranger!" paper in your packet that you picked up on Distribution Day. This is a fun assignment that KMS students have really enjoyed in the past. Look over the paper and think about what freedom means to you. Take a picture of your statue and submit it on Google Classroom. Look for your statues to be displayed on this website! A few examples from past years: |
